Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join a growing commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business while managing and expanding existing client accounts. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance objectives.
- Prepare tailored sales proposals and quotations to suit client requirements.
- Coordinate customer orders and ensure a seamless sales process from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity using the company CRM system.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry exhibitions as required.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a business development, field sales, or account management role.
- A proven ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities and provide effective solutions.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing your own workload.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
