We are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join a specialist manufacturing and processing facility in Cavan, supporting the semiconductor industry.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with full training provided. The role involves working with high-value precision components and ensuring they are cleaned, processed and inspected to strict quality standards.
Operating production and specialist cleaning equipment.
Cleaning precision metal components using specialised processes and chemicals.
Loading and unloading components into machinery.
Inspecting parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Packing and labelling finished products for shipment.
Completing production paperwork and following work instructions.
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Following all health and safety and quality procedures.
Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
You will initially complete a training period on a day shift, approximately:
8:30am – 5:00pm
Following the training/probationary period, you will move onto a rotating shift pattern, which is a requirement of the role:
Morning: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Evening: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
The shifts operate Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
You will rotate weekly between shifts — one week on mornings followed by one week on evenings.
Once you move onto shift work, you will receive a 20% shift allowance in addition to your hourly rate.
€14.50 per hour basic rate
20% shift allowance once working shifts

Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment is preferred, with approximately one year’s experience desirable.
Experience operating machinery or production equipment would also be beneficial.
You should be:
Comfortable working rotating shifts.
Reliable and punctual.
Able to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
Quality-focused with good attention to detail.
Comfortable working as part of a team.
Legally entitled to work in Ireland.
Able to reliably travel to the site in Cavan.
