Job Title: LGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver
Location: Glasgow & Aberdeen
Salary: £19ph

We are currently recruiting an experienced and safety-conscious LGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver to join our team, covering deliveries across Glasgow and Aberdeen.

This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of gas cylinders to customer sites, ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and in line with ADR regulations, road transport legislation and company health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and complete all required safety checks before starting your route.
• Ensure your allocated vehicle is roadworthy, secure, clean and maintained to a high standard.
• Safely load, unload, deliver and collect gas cylinders using approved handling procedures and specialist equipment where required.
• Complete approximately 15–20 cylinder deliveries and collections per day.
• Follow safe driving practices and comply with driver hours regulations and all relevant road transport legislation.
• Handle gas cylinders in accordance with manual handling guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required transport documentation.
• Provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Follow all ADR regulations, company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Key Requirements:

• A valid HGV/LGV Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• A current ADR Certificate covering Class 2 gases in packages.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• At least 2 years’ LGV driving experience, as required for insurance purposes.
• A good understanding of driver hours regulations, defensive driving and health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and responsible approach to your work.
• The ability to handle gas cylinders safely and follow established procedures.
