Accounts Payable Specialist

One of Dublin’s most recognised café chains is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a fixed-term contract for the next 6 months.

The Package:

• €30k – €35k (Pro-Rata) DOE
• 9:00am to 5:00pm (Mon to Fri)
• Flexible Hybrid Working, discounted food & drink.
• Convenient South Dublin location

The Role:

Taking on this temporary position as a key member of a high performing finance team, the successful candidate can expect to be involved in focused accounts payable work, including but not limited to the following:

• Accurate and punctual invoice processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Resolving queries and discrepancies
• Precise recording of expenses, allocating as required.
• Journal postings, pre-payments, accruals and other month-end activities.
• Ensuring audit readiness and internal policy compliance.

The Person:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Graduated in an Accounting or Business Administration related field
• 1+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Experience using Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics)
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office software.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to effectively prioritise work to meet deadlines.
