Job Description

Our client, a healthcare-focused organisation based in Cork, is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months..

This role would be particularly well suited to candidates from a Nursing background or healthcare professionals with a clinical, patient-care or medical background who is looking to move into a role combining patient support and healthcare coordination.

For You:

Pay Rate: €17 – €19 p/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming emails and responding to customer queries.
  • Answering telephone calls and providing professional customer support.
  • Organising and maintaining customer files and records.
  • Scheduling meetings, appointments and customer home visits.
  • Processing customer booking forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaising with customers and internal teams to coordinate bookings and services.
  • Travelling to customers’ homes to provide support with CPAP machines and other relevant medical equipment.
  • Assisting customers with the use and set-up of equipment.
  • Fitting and assisting customers with CPAP face masks.
  • Providing customers with clear, professional and reassuring guidance.
  • Completing relevant documentation and updating customer records following visits.
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer care, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  • A background in nursing, healthcare, clinical support, medical administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, professional and patient-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Good attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
  • Confidence using computers and learning new software systems.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • A full clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel to customers’ homes.
