Recruitment Manager – Liverpool

At Osborne, we’re growing – and we’re excited to be opening a new office in Liverpool. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Recruitment & Business Manager to join us and play a key role in establishing and growing our presence in the Liverpool market.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships, developing business and supporting a team. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our new Liverpool office while working as part of an international, award-winning recruitment consultancy that believes in Recruitment Excellence.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, collaborative and passionate about recruitment, with the drive to build a successful desk, develop strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the office.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including taking job requirements, sourcing and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, interview preparation and successful placements.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Liverpool market.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate network, providing professional advice and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage Temporary, Contract and Permanent recruitment opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Liverpool recruitment market, including key sectors, employers, talent pools and market trends.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, candidate relationships, business development activity and local market engagement.
  • Take responsibility for achieving individual and office recruitment targets and contributing to the overall growth of the Liverpool office.
  • Support the development of the office and help establish Osborne as a trusted recruitment partner within the local market.
  • Provide guidance, support and mentoring to colleagues as the team develops.
  • Manage recruitment administration, compliance and client/candidate documentation to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Osborne team, sharing knowledge, best practice and market insights.
  • Represent Osborne professionally at client meetings, networking events and industry events.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within agency recruitment, ideally with experience across both candidate management and business development.
  • Experience in a recruitment consultant or recruitment management role.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence in developing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisation and follow-up skills, with a strong sense of urgency and client focus.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role and helping to build a new office from the ground up.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience would be an advantage, but we’re equally interested in experienced recruiters who are ready to take the next step into management.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Competitive salary and commission/bonus structure.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in launching and growing our new Liverpool office.
  • 25 days annual leave plus company days.
  • Pension.
  • Flexible benefits.
  • Early finish on Fridays.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Health and wellness programmes.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • A vibrant, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • The opportunity to grow with an international, award-winning recruitment consultancy.
  • Support from an established wider Osborne team while having the autonomy to make your mark in the Liverpool market.
