Senior Recruiter – New York

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, from taking job requirements from clients and sourcing and shortlisting candidates, through to coordinating interviews, interview preparation and successful placements.
  • Build trusted relationships with candidates, understanding their career goals and supporting them in securing the right opportunities.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking, market engagement and relationship building.
  • Work across Contract, Temporary and Permanent recruitment opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the New York talent market and the sectors and roles you recruit for.
  • Manage recruitment administration, compliance and candidate/client documentation to a high standard.
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work as part of a proactive, professional and supportive team, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive team culture.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in agency recruitment, ideally within a 360 recruitment environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Strong client and candidate service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple vacancies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent follow-up skills, with a strong sense of urgency and commercial awareness.
  • A proactive, motivated and collaborative approach to recruitment.
  • Confidence in developing new business relationships and building a professional network.
  • A genuine interest in the New York recruitment market and a desire to develop a long-term career in recruitment.
