Temporary Catering Assistant

Location: Drogheda
Pay Rate: €14.15 per hour
Contract: Temporary Part-Time (6 weeks)
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a small café catering for young people in Drogheda on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with deli or catering experience who enjoys preparing simple meals and providing excellent customer service in a friendly environment.

This is a light catering role with no heavy food service, making it ideal for someone with basic cooking skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Working Hours

• Temporary 6-week assignment
• Part-time 2 days up to 24 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a catering, café, deli, or food service environment.
• Basic HACCP/Food Safety training is essential.
• Basic cooking skills.
• Deli experience is highly desirable.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
